It’s been a couple of years since a cricket game landed on the Nintendo Switch (except for this management one), and while there’s no sign of one yet on the Switch 2, Don Bradman: Cricket Jr is coming to the Switch in just a couple of weeks.
Don Bradman: Cricket Jr is a more comical take on cricket, with big, chunky characters and a more arcade-style approach to the sport, similar to what we saw in Big Bash Boom. While that game had the BBL and WBBL licences, this one, like a lot of recent Tru Blu releases, features no official teams, players or licences aside from Don Bradman himself. Apparently, though, you have to unlock him.
The game appeared on retailer listings, so we know it’ll feature Quick Match, Tournaments and local multiplayer. There’ll be options for both quick matches and fuller cricket experiences, too.
It’s budget priced too with JB Hi-Fi listing it at $29.95 for a code in a box, which likely means the digital price will be the same. Don Bradman: Cricket Jr is out on November 6th, 2026.
We’re not sure about the AI generated coat of arms on the cover but…
