During the latest Nintendo Direct, Sega revealed two new Persona games coming to the Switch 2 in the future: Persona 4 Revival, and Persona 6.
Persona 4 Revival is a full ground-up remake of Persona 4, with new modern features, a new script, a bunch of the content from Persona 4 Golden, and a whole lot more. The game was previously announced for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, but it was obvious to anyone with a brain that it would eventually come to Switch 2 as well, and here we are.
The catch is that it won’t be launching on Switch 2 on the same date as on other platforms, instead coming a few months later, much like Persona 3 Reload before it. Persona 4 Revival will be released on Switch 2 on May 20, 2027.
In addition to the Persona 4 remake, Sega and Atlus also revealed that Persona 6, previously announced for other platforms, would also be coming to Switch 2. We know next to nothing about this game, beyond a spooky gravestone and an ectoplasmic icon, and we don’t know if it’ll be day and date with other platforms or face a similar delay.
